I'm Christine Koenig, an award-winning journalist and communications strategist with decades of experience across television, radio, print, and digital media.
Perhaps you've read my past work in the Chicago Tribune or Time magazine, or seen something I wrote and produced on A&E’s American Justice, The Oprah Winfrey Show, CNN, or WFLD's Fox Thing in the Morning. Together with my late wife, Dr. Wendy Koenig, I created one of Chicago’s most comprehensive guides to public art: Windy City Public Art.
As the Communications Manager of Content at CuraLinc Healthcare, I created the Grief and Loss Toolkit—honored with a 2025 Communicator Award of Distinction.
In 2026, I became a certified grief counselor through Claire Bidwell Smith’s Grief & Loss Comprehensive Training Program.
My goal is to take the taboo out of talking about grief and loss, and I intend to use everything I've ever learned during my journalism and communication career to amplify the conversation everyone should be having.
How can I help you?
