Network of Friends

Nothing helps the grief journey more than having supportive friends. Here are some of their projects you can support, too.

The Whole Enchilada Cookbook

Glenda Galván-García is a cookbook author, executive chef, food stylist and amiga extraordinaire.

Austyn Wells

Spiritual Medium and Soul Gardener who mentors spiritually-seeking individuals to cultivate their intuition, heal their hearts and connect with the Divine.

The Death Deck

Lisa Pahl, LCSW and APHSW-C, is an expert in guiding difficult conversations. Her card game helps you explore a universal topic we’re all obsessed with, yet often avoid. I have gifted these to several people to get the conversation started.

Proper Good

Chris and Jennifer Jane are Wendy’s cousins. Their healthy meals come in unique packaging that allows you to store them at room temperature (no need for refrigeration or freezing) which means you can take your pouches anywhere, whether that is simply to the office, on a family camping trip or on an epic adventure.

WFPK Louisville Public Radio

This 24-hour, listener-supported, noncommercial radio station in Louisville, Kentucky, was Wendy’s favorite. I’ve become friends with the afternoon drive host, Laura Shine, and am so very pleased to sponsor every June 21 (Wendy’s birthday). Specializing in adult album alternative, it is the station for “So Much Music.”

Sebastopol Microgreens

Since 2009, Stacey Schuett has been growing 50+ kinds of microgreens and a range of edible flowers in the beautiful wine country of Sonoma County. Her business proudly serves fine dining establishments in the San Francisco Bay Area, Northern California and beyond.

Help Texts

I was honored to meet Help Texts' CEO, Emma Payne, and COO, Melissa Lunardini, PhD, MA, MBA, FT, at the very first Grieftastic Book Fair. They deliver affordable, multilingual support globally via text message for all of life's toughest moments, and grief is definitely one of them. I am proud to partner with them now! If you’re not sure what to say, you can gift someone a year’s worth of support from experts who do. If you are seeking support during your grief journey, start here.

Watch Me! Sports Bar

With community and inclusivity as the backdrop, Jax and her team celebrate achievements by women who continuously break barriers in the sports world, and create a welcoming and comfortable environment showcasing a steady flow of televised women’s sports.
